People of MIT Sloan. There is a tragedy taking place every single day in these halls.

During the admissions process, we were led to believe that this was a diverse community, supportive of all genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds. We have come to realize this was a blatant lie. We have hundreds of clubs to choose from; the tango club, the hockey club, and many more.

Yet, one remains curiously lacking.

In the latest issue of Fortune, it was reported that 98 out of the top 100 companies have male CEOs. For hundreds of years, this number held steady at 100. The fact that this number has plummeted is serious cause for concern among the male business community. Who are these two women CEOs who have sullied this once proud title?

As a leader among business schools, MIT Sloan has the responsibility to restore men to their once prominent status. Sloanies, we present to you SMIM - Sloan Men in Management. Of course, many of you are surely feeling outrage at this point. How could the student body have done such harm to this school by ignoring the needs of such an important cross-section of our population? You may not know this, but men represent 70% of the population at MIT Sloan. It would only stand to reason that 70% of the clubs be for men only.

This will be a club to rival the likes of HMIM at HBS, CMIM at Columbia, and WMIM at Wharton. We will compete not only against women CEO hopefuls, but the ambitious, driven, talented, capable, responsible, strong, decisive, and successful men of other business schools.

There are many challenges that are facing men as a gender as we move through a female dominated 21st century. Who sleeps with the young, blonde secretaries? Men do. Who fires needlessly to pad their own wallets? Men do. Who works until 3:00 AM and successfully neglects their family? Men do. Who executes all the great insider trades you hear on the news? Men do. Who holds golf outings at male only country clubs? Men do. Who sit in their oversized office, put their wingtips up on the desk, and order others around all day? Men do. Without adequate male representation, none of these essential business tasks would get accomplished.

The fact is, men are the gasoline engines of society and women are the gas-electric hybrids. We must combat this dangerous trend immediately before humankind as a whole suffers.

So, fellow Sloanies, we implore you to take action, and reverse this injustice in the club system. Join SMIM today and you will be able to attend any of these exciting events:
