Editorial: Congratulations and Good Luck to the MIT Sloan Class of 2007
Now that it’s the end of the year, we have to say goodbye to the Class of 2007. As first years, it’s somewhat unnerving that they will be gone and we will have no one to ask for advice. While it’s an exciting challenge, we’ve appreciated having the second years here to help us, and we’ll certainly miss them.
Thanks to the second years, club transitions have happened smoothly. We've even seen the Beacon Hill Social Club taken over by the class of 2008; the selection of the new writers seems prudent for now. Apparently the methodology and criteria for selection have been leaked though. We at Fifteen also have been significantly dependent on the class of 2007 for our survival and growth over the last year.
Fifteen would particularly like to thank all the second years who have consistently written for us over this year: Dave Adams ’07, Deven Bhatt ’07, Kirk Hourdajian ’07, Harpreet Marwaha’07, and Shahid Rashid ’07. They kept us entertained with their humor and wit, and we’ll miss their contributions to Fifteen.
We’d also like to thank Yiting Shen ’06 for her tireless work on ad sales and on articles. In the fall she often made the trek to MIT Sloan from KSG just for Fifteen meetings, and for that we are grateful.
Finally, we’d like to thank Fifteen’s Editor Emeritus, Arun Prakash ’07. Arun transformed Fifteen into a self-sustaining, even profitable enterprise, and has come up with many great ideas for Fifteen’s continued growth. Thanks Arun for all your help.
To the Class of 2007, who provided continuity to long-lasting Sloan traditions and who will leave the Class of 2008 with the secret keys to the Dean's office, we wish you the best of health, wealth and success, whichever way you may deem. Remember to uphold your integrity at all times and keep on representing the Sloan beaver.
