It all started with a conversation: The Senate is a great place. How can
we make it better?
This simple question brought together Brian Liu, Gerry Hough, and Nuno
Sanches e Silva to form a team to run for Co-Presidents of MIT Sloan's
student body.
As Sloan Senators during Fall 2009, Brian, Gerry, and Nuno witnessed
first-hand view the importance of the Senate in connecting Sloanies with
the administration and faculty: from bringing key issues to light (like
Mark Ritson's future at Sloan) to providing responses to problems
(Finance I during the Core).
With the precedent already set, Brian, Gerry, and Nuno want to continue
the tradition of the outgoing MIT Sloan Senate Co-Presidents by becoming
the leadership team that taps into elements from all corners of Sloan's
diverse and student body. From international origins to varied
interests, Brian, Gerry and Nuno are Diverse, Involved and Responsible -
and they are ready to defend the issues that matter to you the most,
because it's Your Sloan, Your Senate.
